I knew it was going to be difficult to defend our forward areas with the Axis having a 20k airstart nearby. I believe everyone did what they could to defend early on as well as going offensive later. The action became too heavy to coordinate much, but individual squads pretty much did what was needed or could be done considering the situation. We did well offensively, but didn't get the points for capturing most locations. That's on me. We need to plan for troops and not look for volunteers. We did get big points in closing the locations, as they did too. They will have to work harder next frame as the front will be further away from their dreaded airstart. Two different squads tried sitting over the airstart, but the 23rd found that when attacked most would nose down and dive to their next mission. They also seemed to keep a couple high around F6 just to catch our guys. S3 stats just came out...We lost too many fighters trying to repel their actions. Thanks to all for a valiant effort! <S> |
