This is not a CO thread as per se, but as I logged in today (sunday) and saw that noone is dedicated as a CO, I will rally our forces into a coordinated fighting force. Salute! Nomads will fly from F4. Already did too much planning and anounced it very early this week. Looks like 23rd will split F4 and F200 due to step limits at F200. F4 is big! Hell, Hitman and Gums were just about to take the CO credit, as Nomads won't be able to do so until frames 4 and 5. Gums sends... |

I'm afraid you cannot base at F4 sir, it's illegal due to jabo rules. Quote: 2. Operational Restrictions - each side may only conduct operations in the area outlined in the game map. Basing and missions may not be conducted north of horizontal row 5 as indicated on the map. Can you fly NE from 32, then proceed as normal? |

Salute! We're flexible, but this affects the 23rd as well as the Nomads. Timing and such and wasted time. Gonna ask for an emergency ruling by the Donkey dude. I respect the 4th's concern about the rules, but here's the picture of the map that JABO has posted and clearly shows the north limit. Gums re-planning if necessary..... |

Ty sir and <S>. The map shows only how far north people are allowed to fly. If they fly north the horizontal 6-line they break the rules. Basings or missions however cannot be north of the 5-line, sorry With the 5-line restriction 182 is also an illegal target, we'll have to find another base to strike south of the 5-line. 285 or 184 + 72 are legal targets sir. |

The rules say no basing or missions north of the 5 ROW, not the 5 LINE. You don't leave the 5 ROW until you cross into the 6th ROW which would happen on the 6 LINE. Am I wrong? |

I thought a row = a sort of a line (i.e. people standing in a row). dunno as I'm not native english. Jabo please clarify as soon as possible. If it's as daze say, then field 4 would indeed be operational and F182 a legal target. |

In my humble opinion if it is the shaded area it is out. the entire 5 row is available for use and to strike. |

I agree. I've now made plans for the 6-line to be the limit. This means the nomads are based at 4 as requested with 182 as secondary target. Thanks all for the input and help in this matter. <S> |

Thanks for doing this last minute Robert. Sorry my donkey language is confusing at best. Shaded area is out of operations for basing and ground targets but you can fly up to the 6 line. Just to stop silly endarounds, mostly common sense. |
