Pretty good turn out for us (Mtdew, Farout, Hobo, B-frog, Houndg & myself) After 3 frames of hitting ships, we decided we might've dipped into that well too often so decided to seek out and find Ju52 cargo planes. We chose Typhoons & droptanks for this mission and rolled from a southern field. (39) Weaved our way through different areas to get to the attack zone. A couple of discos spread us out some, we also fanned out to different directions. All told I believe we shot down 9 AI JU52s Mtdew, Farout & Hobo had - 2 kills each B-frog, Houndg & Coolon had 1 kill each. After rtb we flew north to try and protec the front lines. buzzed around, saw a con or two but nothing much else happened. We seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time... (probably their radar) Think we had one two losses due to AAA or the sudden intervention of the terrain. Using the Typhoons leaves us available to fly any aircraft for frame 5. |
