Gentlemen:
Initial Sortie:
352nd Came south and rendezvous with buffs. Other fighter groups at hand and sparse enemy attacks commenced in 15 minutes.
encounters were at high speed and close to the french shore and ship ack. Several kills logged.
Sortie 2 and 3+:
Much of the encounters compressed to the narrows of the channel from the cliffs to the Pa De Calais. Enemy aggression was good and remained so. 10+ kills registered here as we attempted to escort and drive a wedge for souther buff runs. Speed of Butcher Birds made both close and high alt escort very difficult...... yet........ the enemy paid for their insolence though often late.
