Gentlemen,
I am attempting to coordinate during very busy business times...... just like all of us.... ;)

Sleepy will be my Buff Commander.
JlordJ and I will both be coordinating general orders.

Initial thoughts are to attack field 77 first sortie in a lightning strike. Meaning we go T-0 and go fast and direct.
Any buff who is late or has issues will have a secondary target near to friendly bases to try to prevent stragglers.

The two fold goal is to be bombing before the enemy can attack with any surety and to have the fighters engage the enemy to destroy their ability to fly first choice aircraft the second sortie.

All I can write for now, all inputs welcome. The three headed monster of Juice-Jlordj-Sleepy is here to hear and plan.

thanks

Juice

Frame planning up to Date:

Bombers launch 44 and head out 090 just below the 7 line IB avionics factory just sw of field 79.
WE hit safe line at T=7 at 22k, going level and bouncing up once or twice and hitting 23.7 k at T+14 and going bombs out on 1st target at T+29.
The first target only has 7 buildings so we will turn left slightly headed for 2nd target B just outside F-89 going bombs out at T+37.
Left turn and make beeline straight home to 44. We can bounce more when empty picking up approx. 1500 ft with each bounce and I had it up to almost 28 k fairly quick for ride home getting back into safe territory T+65 and landing in tower approx. T+ 70.
1st sorte looks like a 090 heading from 44 to 1st target and approx. 038 heading after 1st target to 2nd target 89.
1st target has 7 buildings total and 2nd target has 13 buildings total. We must kill all 7 at first target and 12 of 13 at 2nd target
2nd sorte....back to 89 area for 2 more targets just past 89, possibly same route but most likely straight in approach to 89 area.
Its very important that we close at minimum 2 targets this frame and a 3rd target should pull us ahead in the series.
My goal anyway.
Buffers, please be 10 min into arena before start of frame for quick last brief before takeoff. We really don't want any stragglers as you would be behind group by a few minutes, most likely by yourself and shot down giving freebie points to bad guys....
I'm on the road tomorrow for the weekend getting home sunday afternoon....juice, I may get together with you by phone before then for a few just to stay abreast fo things....

Thanks Sleepy.
Thanks Oshix, if they are sleepy approved please publish.

Fighters: We ALL up 44 with buffs. Your job is destruction of the enemy. Same Sortie 2. Do best can for 2nd Sortie timing.

Positions are thus: 4th FG Middle Top Buff Group Center
352nd FG North (left) Front Buff Group Front
23rd FG South (right) Buff Group Center
8th FG You are freelance any position you wish to attach or roam

Speed and Information is key. Verified encounters require position, angle, number, and altitude. Status and type are bonuses.
If a pilot is able to do some GCI very good. I will be flying.

Any suggestions are very welcome. Any changes will be noted in this thread, the title is changed as of now.

Do you need all the 23rd in fighters or some in bombers? Not sure what some of our guys want to do at this point. Don't forget fighter pilots can only fly the B17.

Reviewing actual game map and looking at the white circled targets which are the only ones we may attack...
IM confused by that bomber choice??? With some fighter guys volunteering to help out as buffers....means we would NEVER get the b-24 as its not a good idea to mix bomber types in one formation.
Example? I'm 23rd FG but have made a commitment to fly this series in a buff...and I havn't flown a fighter mission this series...does that mean I would never get the b-24?
I'd like some kind of splaining on this please?

Sleepy is has also been proffered that 77 may lack targets.
As Buff commander you are da man on targets. Understood that may be lacking but may give us the ability to throw a small hook and then uppercut later... unknown.
