Well done everyone!

I think we clubbed the luftwabbles and destroyed two production facilities (one aluminum and one avionics)
(thanks to the 23rd for finishing off the first target at Koln)

Buffs waited 5 for roll then grabbed north. 352 & 23rd proceeded to fly a forward sweep towards the north to make the Axis forces spawn out of position, at least one group was up from the north.

Bombers stayed tight for the most part until we were told to avoid the brunt of the LW attack. The turn west spread us out a bit, when we turned back to target there were a couple of individuals who were out of position and thereby vulnerable.

Cons came in from all over, AI losses were tough but most of the human pilots were able to make it to target. Bomb damage left 4 buildings but we turned and headed home to make sure we could get the second mission in.

Plans for the second mission were scrapped as time was shorter than we needed so we grabbed north slightly and turn south then directly to target. 23rd volunteered to hit the few buildings remaining at the first target and so we didn't have to hit it again. During the long trek to target we performed several 10deg turns to throw off head on attacks.. at least one of these threw off an attacking LW. Second group stayed together exceptionally well and the fighters that flew into the bomber box were chewed to pieces. Fighter cover was all over us and was able to send pairs down to kill off any enemy that tried to approach the group from behind.

first target at Frankfurt was obliterated in the first pass... after confirmation we eventually swung around and hit the second target. Unfortunately we didn't have enough ordinance to do the job and were just short of the 90% targets destroyed to close the facility (86%)

There were just a few attacks as we headed for home, again the escort was all around us and made things very difficult for the Axis pilots.

We closed an Aluminum and an Avionics facility, and my impression is we did well in scoring kills.
Hopefully we scored a lot of points this frame.

Thank you all for performing at such a high level.
<S> and good luck in frame 4
