-- Gentlemen,
352nd lifted 44 toward the NNE with 23rdFG and bored holes in the sky in the hopes that we would cause controllers to sortie the northern enemy. This seemed to cause a medium force to investigate, so we sent a equal force named "Todzla" to encounter and take care of said force.
The rest of the group proceeded south to the target of Koln. 25 miles short of the targets enemy aircraft were in fairly numerous counts were attacking and rather scattered both close and far from the safe zones (smart if you ask me). Many of the enemy though were in singles and unaware of the dangers around them. Quite a few kills were claimed without the enemy seeing the threat. Many battles descended to the floor and some hairy battles insued with 5 to 7 claims at that time.
Sortie 2: Buff needs caused a straight line attack on Frankfurt which allowed the enemy to track and attack with good knowledge of the target. This gave good results for hunting also and 7+ kills were claimed in these fights. The enemy was more aggressive and persistent this sortie and gave a good showing. Keeping the enemy head down caused fuel depletion and a few 352nd were getting home with a couple gallons and at O'Dark-Thirty.
