We delayed the launch to allow our BUFFs to gain altitude but launched sooner than planned to chase LW off F-28, then RTBed 119 to refuel and launched to join BUFFs and escort to 112. The seemed to work well with no losses and a few kills. 3rd sortie launched to escort but chased a group of LW back east of 119 first then joined BUFFs with a clear route into 117. 4th sortie, launched NOE toward 28 to chase LW off but climbed and followed them up to 111 to help cover RAF. 5th sortie we launched NOE to hit and close 117 in case our BUFFs could not make the cut off timing. Closed 117 then escorted BUFFs back west after they hit 43. Only one loss to enemy action - me - over 119 when I tried to get up to chase off 3 190's who were JABOing 119. Brain Fart moment.
