352nd took off F24 to f48 and dropped from above 25k creating one secondary explosion at 117......

We then moved north of 48 to block or intercept any f53 enemy. DAR reports indicated trade in the 38 and 36 areas.
At that moment a force of 10 to 15 enemy crossed us low at 345ยบ. We turned to attack and a melee ensued for the next 10 minutes.
Getting only one kill but tying up the enemy we had to RTB for ammo.
Second sortie brought us from f24 to maintain an easterly block while keeping the buff group to our left and in sight.
As we arrived in the 34-36 areas north we again encountered trade at approximately 25k heading in the buffs direction, attacking down to the deck
as the enemy dove to ack cover we had many claims. Some claims indicated that the enemy was using smaller dirt fields, so we noted that to intelligence and understood
we may have more enemy numbers in these areas than we thought.
Ammo being low we encountered a friendly field just south and used up all there available ammo to rearm.

Taking off immediately to the north we had continuous pair encounters and chases all the way to 41? areas where the enemy was capped and continuously attempted takeoffs to harm our buff friends.
Ack was heavy and spotting low level take offs was difficult but we were able to claim several while loosing 2 or 3 to ack.
Buffs continuously came in to bomb and strafe as did many little friends to help with closer that never came.
