4G lifted from 116 in 4 Spit XIVs, and from 119 in Typhoons with 1k bombs to target 113 then 34.
We had some difficulty getting up from 119 due to a sticky grass bug so switched to 118. Spits dropped 3 each on 113 then climbed to CAP. TYFies cycled back and forth until 113 closed then started on 34. Spits engaged a large group of LF which had altitude so we egressed west then turned back when they stopped the chase. Finally engaged them SE of 34 with several kills. There is still a problem with identifying what we need to kill in order to close a target. From JABO's description, we thought that the separated spawn points had been disconnected so we initially ignored them until JABO IDed targets at the East Spawn from 34 that needed to go down. We need better clarification in future as to what does or does not need to be hit. As far as we could tell everything except some warehouses in 34 needed to be hit. All-in-all a successful night with our Spits getting multiple kills and with the help of the DRs we closed both 113 and 34. Also in future, if bomber units want fighter escort they need to call for it early and don't assume it will be there unless the fighters confirm. We were not tasked in orders to provide escort but slid to that mission as necessary only to find the bombers had begun ingress without escort which only gets them killed. <S> bombr-
PS - We were specifically instructed NOT to take down bridges but yet several were destroyed by green bombers. This may be a factor of allowing new players to participate.
