Gentlemen,

352nd Fighter Group upped Laf27 to the north in Hawker Typhoons with 500lb bombs and arrived over enemy field 23 dropping our charges on the base.
We saw that the allies were being engaged heavily over 23 and near 26.
Engaging at 18k to 5k we drove off 5 to 9 to the north of 26, suspecting that enemy reinforcements were coming from the NNE we attempted to create a barrier to that corner of the island area.

At the point of rendezvous ENE of 26 we sighted 10+ high and inbound fast. Engaged several and 4+ kills claimed loosing one on the deck due to stupidity.

Cycling at Laf27 most put on Spit XIVs with some Tiffies and came back. The enemy seemed to be emboldened with the confidence of multiple lives and attacked into our territory.
This prompted a cycle at F19 with mostly Spit 14s and engagements from 19 to 26 and back again. The most effective enemy aircraft were the FW-190A-8 type due to speed and quick roll rate combined with a heave gun package.

Cycling back after the excellent closures of 23-26 CO wanted concentration on 48 and areas direct east. Taking off 19 in majority Spit 14s we proceeded to the area.
Knowing that the enemy must rebase to the east we split to the norther reaches of the 48 area. Encountering 3+ north we destroyed or moved them NNE and then proceeded to 48-53 zones.

DAR indicated major presence at this time at 53 proper in collective safety of friendly ack. 4+ 352nd encountered these from 20k to the deck and scored 3 to 5 at that time (mostly 190s)

3+ 352nd encountered stragglers SSW 48 and 48 proper getting claims. Some cycled to rearm and other stayed on station. Enemy started to come in force from 53 and places north to attempt rear attacks as we headed west. Final engagements yielded 2 to 5 more kills and 1 loss at that time.

Attending: *chicdg * fencer * juice= * noflyz * -oskar * saspin * vulche * =wilz=

Claims:

-oskar, x2
=wilz=, x3
chicdg, x3
fencer, x1
saspin, x4
