4th Pilots: Bombr, Omega-, Tebird, Nookyb, Jedi, Robert, Bwild, Icyplt, Navy, Buzkil, Kaseyj, PcAlex, Victim

Sortie 1:
Launched at T+3 with 12 pilots flying Spits IXe w/Tanks and one pilot acting GCI. Launched F29 turning N
and climbing above 25K. 2 Pilots had disco problems. GCI turned us SE to the channel to intercept inbound
boogies (109s and 190s). Lost 1 ac with 2 e/a losses protecting Allied bombers departing for coastal targets
of France. Turned NW by GCI to provide cap and cover for F21/22. Capped F22 for remainder of sortie until
RTB for re-arming at F21.

Result: 1 Lost 4th AC, 2 AXIS downed

Sortie 2:
Launched at ~T+50 with 12 pilots and 1 GCI to defend British interest concentrating on CAP of F21/22.
Intercepted several groups of e/a fighters putting two more in the bag with loss of one 4th pilot. GCI diverted
4th to F31/32 area to intercept enemy bombers losing an additional 4th pilot. Several pilots vectored to DAR
at 28 for defense chasing away 1 and downing 2. Remaining pilots vectored NE to Dover/Hawkings area for
defense of coastal Installations. 4th pilots downed another fighter capping the area for the remainder of the sortie,
RTB T+165.

Results: lost 6, 5 Axis downed, 1 disco
