4th FG S3#104 Frame 4 AAR: SORTIE 1: Launched T+10 with 14 pilots. Intercepted bomber steam at RP1 assigned altitude and coordinates. Lost 3 pilots over target while defending Mitchells with 2 e/a AC destroyed and one assist. RTB to F29. Results: Launched 14 Spits, 2 Captures, 1 KIA, 2 KILLs and 1 Assist SORTIE 2: 4TH launched from F29 with 11 Spit joined by 1 additional Brit arrival, intercepting the Bomber Stream at RP2. Dropped down to 5K NW of target losing 4 Spits downing 1 e/a. RTB F29 w/o further losses or kills. Results: Launched 12 Spits, 1 KIA, 3 Captures, 1 Kill Total: 26 Launches, 2 KIAs, 5 Captures, 3 KILLs, 1 Assist Omega- X.O. 4th FG |
