Frame 4 Orders
Trying something a little different. Not sure a good idea but worth a try I think.

I am going to assume the 8th will fly strike again. If they didn't have fun please let me know.

TAC 17

Strike 1:
GREEN LINE ON DTF IS STRIKE 1

Starting Fields:
DR/Nomads/NS/8th - F19 SP5
DR/Nomads/8th - B25J - 500lb's - 100% fuel
NS - TBD

4th - F29 - your choice
RCAF - F31 - your choice
AE - F17 - your choice

T+0 - Buffs take off and head to 7,9 cross climbing CS 150, then turn south to the RP1. Level at 20K. Primary target F71(R) then F78(T) Extra buffs F73(S) and F72(Q) . Then RTB to F17.

fighters climb and try to stay off DAR. RV with the buffs at RP1 at T+30. 4th Front High; RCAF Front co-alt; AE embedded. If the fighter guys dont like this order, work it out between yourselves. You guy know better than me how to protect our buffs and did great last frame. RTB to Starting bases.

Should be RTB by T+60. Note, we need to use the Dh98 IV speed on the return trip. Go into slight dive and go like hell. No turns. I set climb speed to 300, WEP 1 and it cruises.

Targets:

F71 (R)

F72 (Q)

fighters climb and try to stay off DAR. RV with the buffs at RP2 at T+105.

Targets:

F34(K) Bridge spans, no pic.

F33(J) 6 boats:

Routes:

NOTE: Any dead buffs that need targets can go back to the 71, 72, 73, 78 area and clean up. go low and fast. use speed to live.

Salute!

1) I tink JABO has pointed out that we may be designating too many tgts that will not be on the table the next frame whether we hit them or not.

Better to pulverize a few than get one steenkeeeng tgt at a few more. IMHO

2) I do not like the Mossie, and it's just me and Gundoc and the others that like a decent rear gunner and an airplane that is not made of paper and wood. Look at our first frame otto/manual gun results with those Ma Deuce guns..

In any case, we shall go with the CO decision, but all should practice the thing. It's "touchy", heh heh.

I forecast a few losses on takeoff due to the over-modeled roll and yaw, and I also forecast we will need our second lives to score many points more than the Axis gets for smoking us.

Gums still looking at tgts.

out,

out,

Gums Sir!
Thanks for the feedback! I do listen.

#1, we can take all the targets listed if we get the turnout we had last frame. Without a doubt. If needed, frame 5 we can go back south or go a little deeper in the north. Plenty of targets left. I WANT POINTS!

#2, I struggled with plane choice. I despise not having guns. but that being said, we need to go in at 20K. The B25 just cant do it. Anything lower, like frame 1 and 2, we get destroyed by the waiting AX. With the speed we should not have people sitting on our six. we should be able to walk away from them and let the Fighters keep us clean. Is far as the roll characteristics, the IV seems fine on takeoff. Not sure if they changed it or not but I had no issues with (4) 500lb bombs and 100% fuel. Remember to get the gear up early is all. Landing, still dicey but not roll problems. Maybe they havent "fixed" the IV yet.

Please keep the comment coming and like gums say, strike guys should practice at lease once before Sunday
