The basic idea sounds reasonable, but dive bombing has not been real great for point targets. OTOH, it is really good for taking out ack. Just get within a few hundred feet and the guns go down. Then you can get down and dirty.
I do not like coming in at 20K in the Mitchell, and although we did well last week, I would not wanna try again and have trouble maintaining good formation. I just cannot see a big difference in the abilities of the lites between 15K and 20K, but I can sure as hell tell all that the Mitrchell suns outta poop above 15K.
Still looks like boats and mabe V-1 sites are worth our best effort.

Omega, You idea would probably work but are we then gaming the rules? I remember last series when 352nd did the same thing how pissed everyone was.
I haven't looked at all the plane options. We could definitely put the strikers in something that can fly high and fast. Still have the fighters fly what they love to fly.
Maybe put the strike in Mossy IV, I think that has a nord sight. Dive bombing with the settings on the ack is suicide. We need to drop from 10k+

Since the Tiffy is a dog above 20k no matter what the configuration and you are going to suffer just about everyone to give up their first life, that is a tremendous number of points lost. Dumb idea. Leave the planning to the frame CO. bombr-
All ideas should be welcomed regardless of if they are the best plan or not. You never know where talking about it will lead or what ideas will spawn from it.

TNX, Bomber and Cool. We gotta think clearly and scheme and plot but not abuse the "rules".
I disagree about lite losses attacking acks with bombs if they use high angle drops like the Stuka and drop from 3 or 4,000 feet going st down. But we will not have everyone in jabo lites as Omega has suggested and Bomber has thrown the foul flag RE: rules and "gaming" the sim.
One thing that helps the buffs is the formation commands and the attack command that sends the stoopid drones to hit acks. I tried it on frame 2 and it worked.
So have a human set drones in trail but use negative feet spacing. So the drones fly ahead. Then you use the dot command ".flitecom s ak". The human flight leader can still drop using the nord ten or 15 seconds later. If we can get the arena running and using actual settings, then try it.
Gotta look at the potential tgts but assuming we are hitting north tgts. Do not forget that the buffs can grab west for altitude.
