I need a exception to the rules.

The B25J cannot fly at 20K (even dropping 2 bombs leaving(4) 500lb) without boost on. It stalls and falls out of the sky!

Can we take less fuel??????????

Please?????????

This may be an unintended result of the new FM revisions, not sure.
I have changed the fuel to 50% for all aircraft. That should help.

Salute!

Sorry, Muskie, but it has been that way since the late 1990's.

The B-25 can get to 15K or so in mil, but the FM dweebs added the boost and emasculated the normal power and while they were at it eliminated the +/- key function to increase or decrease power in 5% increments. As surprising as it may seem, many of we buffers used the 5% function to make it wasy for wingies. And then there were those that didn't code the throttle on a stick or whatever.

The lites have never understood how the gross weight of the buffs causes climb rate and altitude problems. The models are close to real world, but the WB terrain/atmosphere is not adjusted for the short ranges and such.

Oh well, we play the cards we are delt and whine. At least the buffers don'r whine about some strange variation of a basic WW2 lite model's 3 mph top speed or whatever.
