OK, so, question for everyone. Trying to figure out an advantage before I decide on a plan

- are our fighters able to dominate the 109's and 190's?
- How high can the B25 fly?
- How long to get to 25K in a B25?

thinking that we need to do normal high level bombing. going low is a huge disadvantage for us. our fighters have no choice down low with the AX able to sit back and pounce on us.

After looking at the point summary, I may have a bit of a negative wave here....

For 2 frames we've thrown our high value point planes deep into their radar turf. They have sat back in low value aircraft and waited for us to bring them points. Our targets given are not worth the point value of a large raid. I don't see anything on the target list that would outweigh the value of the airframes we would send. Target hardness makes little bombs useless for individuals, thus requiring a large contingent of strike planes... we don't have the numbers to cover and attack at the same time.

We should all fly spits & mustang 1 and sit back and let them come to us.

on a side note: Muskyz, personally, would really like to get back to doing Nightstalker stuff... That B-25 is a pig to fly....
I don't care what the real world is like, it is less nimble than this horse:

lol, Cool, you know what I think about big buffs. I hate hate hate them. I am a sneaky bastard.

I just think we need to kill the LW. If we big wing, maybe we can swat them out of the sky. My main concern is if our fighters can compete with the 109 and 190's. the 190 is a flying tank below 25K.

And you know I will go for boats! crap ton of point sitting at 58/61 (40 points or so). All the buffs together should be able to kill static boats at 25K

OK, What are the highest point value targets we have left in the south? I haven't kept track. We found that the Tiffy did preety well against the 190 but not as well against thw 109, go figure. If iENT is not going to go back to the old code on defuse bombs the 4th will not be doing air to graouns. It's just dumb to force a NOE strike to climb high enough to allow for a 4 second arm on an already dfuse bomb - pure BS - anywhy, we'll do what ever else you need. bombr-

Salute!

Just got back from a TDY, but will comment.

- The B-25 used to be the premier medium buff along with the JU-88. The latest downgrade reduced roll and pitch rates to tbhpose of a B-17 or B-24.. I haven't tried those, but if they are ore sluggish then we are lost.

So we Mitchell folks have shot down many LW in both frames, especially first. Reason is we have those Ma Deuce .50 cal suckers in tail and above.

- Getting used to the newer FM downgrades takes practice and folks that show up late will die just trying to takeoff. So think about wht planes the strikers fly.

- as with the buff exodus, we now see the same whines from the lites that try their hand bombing. The 4th experience last week sucks, but that's has been what the buffs have been thru for about ten years. Doggone it, but 4th tried and tried but defeated by the code and somebody's idea of what the real world was like.

- I see no good way to spread out our strikers, and I do not see much hope when we switch to north area. The further we hit from our bases the more the lites have problems. The closer we hit, then the LW has it easier.

Lemme look at the situation after a good night's sleep.
