S3 Series

Was a busy night for us.

Nightstalkers in attendance were: Mtdew, Farout, Hobo, B-frog, Houndg & Coolon

Orders came down from above that we were needed to destroy 6 radar stations in the north. Mtdew had everything worked out, targets assigned and roll times staggered, we all headed off to our respective IP's and then turned to target. Computer problems took their toll but we were able to close all 6 radar sites then return to base. Mtdew took a direct hit after dropping bombs and broke in half, he was our only direct casualty of the night.

Individually we lifted off and headed to northern Germany to sink Freighters. Long flight over water but we were able to find 3 different groups of Freighters and Destroyers. Houndg, B-frog & myself were the farthest east and had enough ammo to sink 7 of 8. Hobo found a freighter and sank it but broke off from the three destroyers. Both Farout and Hobo assisted in targets around 69 and then returned to base. Houndg had a fuel problem and was forced to ditch, B-frog weaved his way around some major cities and factories to land back at F36. I myself discoed soon after heading home.

Totals unofficially are:
6 pilots launched
1 lost to AAA
1 ditch

approximately 8 Freighters sunk and 7 or 8 radar sites taken down.

You fellas were awesome last night. You made the Axis high command worry about the northern approach by taking down the radars along that coastline. I wonder whether JABO's donkey dar revealed anything to them?

Anyway, you brought us 40 points to add to the pot. Thanks for all your hard work.
