S3 Series

Was just me tonight, had hopes of perhaps 4 total but it was not to be.

Scouted the targets and had a plan.... unfortunately things didn't work out that way.

Flew the Mossie VI heavy with bombs. Ingress and timing was good and worked well with nomads... I was in a different area than they so we hoped it would spread out the enemy.
Made it to landfall well, climbed up the cliff and entered the valley I wanted. Flew south east of the target, turned went over into the next valley and prepared to bomb the line of trucks.. only to have miss-aligned the approach. I was beneath the target on the hillside and passed south of it.

Discouraged I pressed on and returned to attack the "fully alerted" target. I came in on the trucks and banked to line up and drop all my bombs in one pass and **BOOM** dead... direct hit from AAA.


got my second life and decided to go early FULLY realizing that most of the friendly air cover would have to refuel and rearm. I flew south to the second target (port at 126) aligned myself to take out the two 20mm right out in the water and totally missed both. came back in to drop bombs and was again killed by AAA.


Jumped into Gums bomber to help with his map issue and we were jumped by cons... I hit a few before we fell to the 109's cannons. Switched over to Gundoc's guns just as he was being attacked. I was able to knock down one fighter but not before he was shot down also.

I killed one transport at the port.
shot down at least 1 enemy fighter

Died twice.

NOTE: AA fire is very accurate and going in alone and not spreading the AA between aircraft is very VERY dangerous.

Thanks for going it alone. AAA is hard if it isn't spread out.
