Operation Harpoon USING THESE NOW AS THE FINAL ORDERS
Objectives: Protect our ships while attempting to destroy the enemy retreating fleets
Fighter Assignments: SPIT-II (would be nice if a small percentage had Hurri's just in case we have to surgically take out some ships for points)
1. 8thFG/RCAF/23rdFG (approximately 13): (TAC CHANNEL 16)
- F48 Initial Home Base (8thFG/RCAF)
- F43 Initial Home Base (23rdFG) -- not illustrated on map
- CAP 10,9X and protect North Sea Flotilla
- Destroy enemy strikes and fighter sweeps
- Rearm/refuel at home base or alternates (including F1) as needed - this should be done in stages so area is not left unprotected.
- Be prepared and ready to adapt plan to be dispatched to cover our own strike area (blue or green)
2. 352nd FG (approximately 14):
- F7 Inital Home Base
- CAP 8,6,4 area and protect Channel Flotilla
- Destroy enemy strikes and fighter sweeps
- Rearm/refuel at home base or alternates (including F1) as needed - this should be done in stages so area is not left unprotected.
- Be prepared and ready to adapt plan to be dispatched to cover our own strike area (blue or orange)
AI Anti-Shipping Strikes:
1. Green. 8xWellington. Launch F48 @ T+45. Arrive Target @ T+81. Hunt at designated target points along the NE portion of evacuation route. Fly NOE until 5mi from first target point. (approx. 120mi route to target)
2. Orange. 8xWellington. Launch F7 @ T+30. Arrive Target @ T+75. Hunt at designated target points along the Central portion of evacuation route. Fly NOE until 5mi from first target point. (approx. 145mi route to target)
3. Blue. 8xWellington. Launch F1. Hunt at designated target points along the S portion of evacuation route. Fly NOE until 5mi from first target point. (approx 15mi route to target)
4. Commander's discretion to rerun either 1/2/3 at later time in frame
AI strikes should RTB using shortest route possible (i.e. do not fly back on ingress route)
