March on London, Frame 4 ORDERS

Image

RCAF-8th FG --- F-43. Spitfire Mk II, full fuel. Bar Cap patrol between 8 vert. and 9 vert. line.
352nd FG --- F-38. Spitfire Mk II, full fuel. Bar Cap patrol between 7 vert. and 8 vert. line.
23rd FG --- F-7. Spitfire Mk II, full fuel. Bar Cap patrol between 6 vert. and 7 vert.

The general plan would be to supplement any one Group which experiences enemy action with the nearest elements while still maintaining the Bar Cap. A "second wave" will, most likely be on the way. Once engagements happen to lighten-up, each Group should reestablish their Bar Cap position. The Bar Cap may sag as far SE as the F-18, F-6 area, however NO ELEMENTS ARE TO GO FURTHER SE THAN THE PORT AT F-1.
All flights should keep in mind that it will be possible that the entire LW is at F-1 by T+12. They can refuel and rearm there for the remainder of the Frame.
Unless engagements dictate otherwise, all Groups will be requested to refuel, rearm at about T+60. We will do this in a way that there is always "some" variety of Bar Cap in place. Groups will do this one at a time.

<S>

Take the Long Way Home Dept.
F-43 to F-1 --- 51 miiles
F-38 to F-1 --- 59 miles
F-7 to F-1 --- 65 miles

3. If you pursue to the T+180 time limit you will land in the dark. Break off air to air combat to make sure you are home by then.

JABO:
Assuming that the British Fleet icons are not artifacts of some previous iteration of the map, and assuming that we have command over, and the cooperation of, the Admiralty, please reroute ALL Navy and civilian shipping so that they NEVER enter the evacuation area. In the case of cargo type ships there is NO PORT for them to steam towards, and no AI destroyer engagement has any effect on our operations other than to offer the enemy "free" points.
We will run Wellington AI routine # 3, exclusively, at the same time as it was run in Frame 3.

Happy trails...

17. Penalty Planes - players that commit errors in basic rules and do not attempt to correct the error during play will have a penalty plane assigned to them to conduct a hair-raising mission behind enemy lines. If they survive they can teleport and replane in their regular ride.

Addressing transgressions at the earliest possible juncture is always a good idea. The mission is typically assigned by the Janitors. Please advise the nature of the mission and cover will be offered to the extent of the Bar Cap. When completed, please have your Swordfish pilot join the Squad.

Awaiting orders. Pretty sure it will be an attempt at shipping, would prefer not to have bar cap, no need to have an flashing arrow pointing at me. Besides think they will be rather busy with other items.
Thanks

Dewolf,
It might be prudent to ask jabo IF the axis can start ai routines from f1, unless you already know the answer. Just a thought.

F1 is open and operational. There will be static and moving AI in the Dover area. The destroyer screens will be moving fast and shooting hard.

OK, I'll plead ignorant. If they can....?

EDIT
Thanks for your note. See your PM.

Home Fleet and Channel Destroyers will destroy enemy attempts to evacuate. Expect to see violent and persistent fleet action on either side of the evacuation routes.

Wellington #3 will be ready for Frame 4.

Please communicate to the Admiralty that that the RAF does not have the resources to cover their actions. Letters home are on the Admiralty, they have been advised.
If Jerry wishes to "get outta Dodge", the RAF is pleased to allow them to do it. Since our Hurris destroyed their entire mechanized force, I would have the remainder of the Allied tank force continuously shelling F-1 to further encourage the evacuation. <S>

Churchill has released the Home Fleet from Scapa Flow, at least 8 battleships and heavy cruisers with a destroyer screen are heading toward the Channel. Reports indicate that the Bismarck and Scharnhorst have also sailed in an attempt to intercept. The greatest naval battle of the century is about to begin.
