Noflyz / Jabo - How do I get the AI Wellingtons to attack shipping? Do we need to build a routine that goes to a certain area then attacks? Could it attack anything along the way? Not sure how to set this up in frame 5. The evacuation route is a nice 50-60mi long line... Is it sufficient to send them at the 3 port areas?

I thought both sides may have tried that in Frame 4 but no go. Against AI GVs they suck as they smash into the ground but using torp attacks they may do better against ships. You could send the Wellingtons against a port target and if they run across ships outside the port or on the way they would attack. Noflyz has been an expert putting these things together.

They are quite effective against ships if we know where they are. You can overcome this some by setting multiple strike waypoints and it will spend some time at each one trying to find ships.
Note that if they find the target relatively early there is no way to tell them, you can go home now. They will go to all the set waypoints till and spend some time over each doing nothing. Perhaps at sea they will not run aground but not tested that extensively.

In either case you can expect all of them to die because they will spend a lot of time loitering low to the ground. We can send them to the evacuation route line looking and hope they do OK.

If Noflyz designs them I can move them over the existing routes for the shipping so they will come in contact without wasting too much time. The flak of the DDs will be very effective so many brave Wellington crews may die. It wont show in the log though. AI vs AI pretty much is a figment of our imaginations and will not log. Have to figure a way around that one.
