4th Frame 4 AAR

SORTIE 1 - Launched seeking any ground targets in the area of F6, finding various GVs SE of F6. We hit these targets taking out a 40mm and two Panzers. We diverted from strike as 7 was attacked early by 200's from the SE which were ineffective at closing. We pulled back the GV hunters after 3 kills and ended up killing all but two of the attackers and keeping 7 open.

SORTIE 2 - Again we took out several GVs but had to break off to defend F7. We killed the last two 200s from the first attack when a larger force approached from the NW. The 352nd came to support, and between both squads we had several kills, but the AXIS shot down the remaining 4th pilots except for Jedi, Robert, Omega and Ruidoc. 4th recovered their planes to F7 loosing Ruidoc to a bad landing.

SORTIE 3 - Remaining 4th re-armed and launched for additional AXIS bombers inbound to F7 from the west. This time they were 88’s with 109 support. GCI called out bombers but they were too high to intercept and they took out the bunkers and huts closing F7. Two additional AXIS AC were shot down after they closed F7. The 4th had to recover to F62 for fuel. Remaining three 4th pilots landed safely at F62.
