4th - Head to F22 area - look for GV's and Macchi's -prepare to meet up with Doolittle Raiders 352nd head in G7 area- same as 4th - DR escort unlikely early 8th - head to V160 then North to escort DR watching for GV's and Macchi's Doolittle Raiders - lift at T+5 and head out to sea - wait for escort which can't lift till T+15 - then head south towards the front line at Bardia - if no GV's spotted hit Bardi(P90) then T66 if ammo left then rtb. - Remember you guys have 2 life's each frame. Your plane has poor low defense high so stay under 300' until you are ready to drop. RCAF - escort DR's drop low and finish off any targets DR missed then rtb with DR. 4TH P40B - M62 8TH P40B - S23 RCAF HURI II M- M62 3552ND P40B - S23 DOOLITTLE RAIDERS B25C -M62 NOTE: DAR 20 MILES 300 FT MINIMUM MUST START WITH 100% FUEL T+0 - ONLY STRIKE AIRCRAFT T+15 - ALL Any suggestions or concerns please post |

Just realized that my map is porked, only showing a small section and the summary didnt upload. I have to apologize to both Frame COs. I am away until Sunday but will get it corrected as soon as I am back. All the grass fields may only base the Hurricane IIB. The one large field may only base the Wellington. Beaver you dont have to stick with just the bases on the smaller map its only a portion of the entire map. For points taking down the Ju88 and 109E4 Aa gives you good points, aircraft range from 3 to 1 in points. For ground structures the industrial warehouses, docks at ports, hangars and fuel/ammo dumps score 0.5 pts while things like houses and smaller structures score 0.25. For AI tanks are tough and score 1.0 pts with halftracks scoring 0.5. Each side has two ground force hexagons to the either side of the frontline with the other two be to the SW or SE. In these hexagon locations you will find tanks, halftracks and AAA of a varied mixture. This is from memory but will get the map and spreadsheet updated as soon as possible on Sunday. |

Looks like the entire map is in play. Squads likely should plan to RTB TO THEIR ORIGINAL DEPARTURE FIELD, as "extra" bases not used by anyone or designated for specific aircraft types are few and far between. "Transit time" cycling fighters for ammo may be a significant factor in this Series. Axis fighters have significantly less time involved in returning to the "front" than will the Allied fighters. In available fighters, with the 100% fuel requirement, ammo will likely be a bigger problem than endurance. Differing from the "Planning Map" Grass Field F-7 in the 4,3 box seems to be available for Hurri IIB aircraft. Fields in the Tobruk area also differ. Alternately stated, the "front" must sag to the West in that area to accommodate Field F-7 being under Allied control. Red dashed line indicates the difference between the Online and the Planning maps. |
