7. Squad Basing - each squad must start at their own designated field. During play they may subsequently move to a field that is not in use. Those fields that indicate one aircraft type must have that type flown by any squad that bases there

There are P40's at both S23 & M62.

When Jabo indicates "their OWN field", some might get the impression that EACH Squad requires a separate field. Should that happen to be the case, then when the bases are set for Frame !, then the aircraft types available at those fields are set for the whole Series. Should it be the case that EACH Squad requires a separate field, AND multiple Squads operate, as Ordered, from a common field, WHICH ONE has to fly the Swordfish in the next Frame?

To spread things out a bit each squad has to start at their own base.
Any base that indicates just Hurris or Wellingtons can only base those aircraft there and nothing else.
Now if a squad is needed somewhere else they can rebase to an open base that uses the same aircraft and no other squad operating from there.

I know I know should be an easier way to word this.

JABO INQUIRY

Confusion Strikes Deep Dept.

Private Arena S3 Map

Janitor's Planning Map V-2 (Current)

The Arena Map and the first planning map are relatively consistent, but different overlays; the notable difference being the "F" designations of all of the "fields" on the Arena offering. The current Janitors' Map happens to have only 16 grids within which to operate.

3. Operational Restrictions - each side may only conduct operations in the area outlined in the game map. Some airfields may only base a specific aircraft type and are listed on the map. Those airfields that have no indication my base any of the available a\c. Tobruk is British but no attacks may be conducted against it and its airfield is closed for the series.

Our Preliminary Orders are consistent with the above portion of the Rules and the currently-presented map.

7. Squad Basing - each squad must start at their own designated field. During play they may subsequently move to a field that is not in use. Those fields that indicate one aircraft type must have that type flown by any squad that bases there

So, is Frame 1 Game play restricted to the 16 squares currently shown on the Operational Area map, BUT that aircraft must be based outside that area in order to comply with Rule 7? Are fighter aircraft to be instructed to break off when pursuing across the "boundaries" of the 16 squares?
