<S> to the AEs for their great effort at Fleet Cap. In Frame 4 the bad guys flew a lot more strike aircraft than they did fighters, and their score reflected it. The 352nd was able to get (9) of the (13) Zeros flown in their escort of the DRs to the enemy targets. Note that ALL fighter aircraft flown by the enemy died. Nice work USN fighters!
In Frame 5 we "could" put a number of our fighter pilots in strike airplanes, and possibly do something similar in regard to sinking Kaga-class carriers. Alternately, we could let our Stalker/Nomad scouts supplemented by the DRs go for what they can get and keep all of our fighters on Fleet Cap in attempt to deny the sinking of any of our carriers.
Personally, I would think that having Mr. Sleepy's counsel of what to do with the AI Force HAD to help the bad guys. Our pilots, understandably, have continuing problems with the nuances of how it happens to work.
Squads are encouraged to state a preference for a Frame 5 role that will be accommodated if at all possible.
AE CO -Besea, and I will be discussing Frame 5 possibilities on TS Thursday evening at 8:30 PM Eastern/ 5:30 PM Pacific on the Eagles TS frequency. Squad COs and/or flight planners are welcome to chime in with their suggestions and requests for Frame 5 roles.
Following that discussion, expect written ORDERS for Frame 5 sometime Friday night.
