Welcome to our 100th Event! The longest running online combat sims event starts our 18th Year. http://www.squadselectseries.com - rules, aircraft table and map up. The Frame 1 CO must pick a start point and initial heading for their Carrier Task Force. The TF may make ONE heading change during the frame and must not go out of bounds during the entire frame. This must be decided before the frame and cannot be changed. Each side has one seaplane base and radar base on the southern edge of the playing field. At T+0 each side may launch one step of fighters to CAP the Task Force and one step of scout aircraft to locate the enemy CV. Once an enemy CV has been visually located and ruled found by the CM all available aircraft may be launched. Once this occurs the frame CO is free to assign aircraft as needed. Task force will have 32 ships with 4 CVs spread out over a large area. Sinking or damaging CVs will score the most points but other ships score as well. For those taking up the slack and flying strike aircraft it is important to practice with the CA interface so you can select and switch aircraft as needed. Please try and stay above 300ft when attacking or being attacked as there is a known bug in the CA interface that causes your wingman to get stuck on the water when you switch below this height. If this does happen inform the CM. Good Luck |

Thanks Jabo. Sounds like a fun one to start the season Sure be nice to get the S3 open so that we could get some practice runs in. Especially, CV take off & landings. Even better if WB would open a arena with all the FMs we will have to use. Looking forward to the new season. |

Salute! Gotta bug the SFWE folks , but can we get an easier way for we lowly buff pukes to act as gunners on our scout planes? Otherwise, it's a hard "dot command" drill. Nomads are down to 2 or 3 and maybe should go with Stalkers for scout and serendipity strike runs for lone IJN boats. Gums still TDY for another two weeks. out.... |

Arena setup. You must type .privatearena s3 at login to see it. Its hidden right now. CVs enable for both sides but when the routine reloads I need to manually enable the aircraft unless somebody has a script. They have long runs so I will check everyday to reload. Moving at 30 mph. |

^^^ An Allied CV would be a nice touch. Flight is currently NOT enabled. |
