Gents:
Well, it's the last Frame of the Series, and the last Frame of the current S3 Season. It "could be" that we will need the summer months to mull over this Frame :)

General Outline

F-7 --- 352nd FG. Spitfire XIV. Sweep for Dieppe raid.
F-9 --- 4th FG. Spitfire XIV. Close and CAP escort for the Jugs on Dieppe raid.
F-10 --- RCAF. Republic P-47D with 3 X 500 lb. bombs. Bomb or jet ord over Port 101, Dieppe.
F-17 --- 23rd FG. Republic P-47D. Intercept V-1 flying bombs on ALL tracks.
F-24 --- Night Stalkers. Aircraft from inventory. Target(s) of choice, OR join the RCAF's Jugs at the RP for the first sortie.
F-29 --- Doolittle's Raiders. Hurri IIc. Patrol off shore shipping lanes with one step. Numbers in excess of (6) aircraft with 2 X 500 lb. bombs, join RCAF at the RP.
F-31 --- 8th FG. Republic P-47D with 3 X 500 lb. bombs. Join with the RCAF at the RP.

The object of the exercise is to provide something close to the Series intentions by going out to destroy some enemy targets. All Strike Group wings takeoff at T=0 and make for the Rally point just west of Radar 28, which "should" keep the strike force off of enemy radar until the raid actually starts it's ingress. Communication in the RP area will be crutial. Spit XIV elements from the 4th FG will need to identify and form on the RCAF's Jugs. 4th please provide flank and high cover for the Jugs. 352nd FG to be about 5 miles ahead of the gaggle to provide "sweep escort". Use whatever altitude seems appropriate. Jug flight: CROSS THE CHANNEL WITH ALTITUDE. As much as is comfortable up to 22 thousand feet. MAINTAIN THAT ALTITUDE UNTIL OVER THE TARGET. IF YOUR FIGHTER ESCORTS CAN CERTIFY "CLEAR", ATTACK THE PORT FROM SOUTH TO NORTH. GAIN ALTITUDE AGAIN OVER THE CHANNEL. The 4th will need to maintain high cover over the RCAF until they are able to come back up to altitude and rejoin what ever fight may be going on.
ALTERNATELY, if the Allied flight is challenged over the target, the RCAF should jet there ord over Port 101 or Town 102 FROM ALTITUDE. Do the best you can, "precision bombing" from a fighter at 20+ thousand feet is, at best, "iffy". IF the "big wing" is challenged by significant numbers OVER THE CHANNEL, the RCAF should jet their ord whenever necessary and join in the fight. If it is a big furball, a whole bunch of pilots on both sides will be cut loose early for summer vacation. Again, the Jugs will need to MAINTAIN ALTITUDE AND ORDNANCE, until the target area is observed to be clear, OR the entire strike group becomes engaged.

DRs, in their Hurri IIcs should patrol the Allied Shipping Lanes for possible intruders. Dedicate ONE STEP (6) of your aircraft to this task. Please arm any numbers you have in excess of (6) aircraft with 2 X 500 lb. bombs and have them join with the RCAF jugs as the RP.

Good luck to all of our Squads. Hopefully this scenario will present something interesting to all participants.

If jetting ord is necessary, and it is possible, try to shed it from high altitude somewhere where you "might" hit something.

Ty for taking charge of the last frame, Dewolf sir. I just ran a max speed test on the Hurricane IIC, and I highly doubt it will be able to intercept any V1 rockets. The Spitfire IXe has already been deemed unfit this series for V1 duty, as the V1's outrun it by a few mph. The Hurricane is much worse as it even lags a further 77 mph behind the Spit IXe.

SPEED TEST - WEP
Spitfire IXe: 355 mph (TAS) at 5000 ft.
Hurricane IIC: 278 mph (TAS) at 5000 ft.

If we put Hurricanes to intercept V1 rockets then I fear that at least 90% will get through to London in that area. Hurricanes would probably do a much better job as support fighter-bombers, carrying 2x500 lbs. They could attack ships or do clean-up duty supporting the P-47D's.

Orders have been distributed to the 4th FG. We will do our very best protecting the P-47D's.

Thanks again Dewolf for clear concise orders. There are now only 7 launch sites indicated on the revised map. Sorry for the late summary. So you should not see as many V1s but expect to see two sets of launches fairly close together trying to swamp the defenses as in the previous frames.

23rd Fighter Group--Please distribute your pilots over ALL 7 of the remaining V-1 route lines for interdiction.

Raiders-- We cannot leave our shipping lanes totally unprotected. ONE STEP of your Hurris need to be dedicated to that task. SHOULD YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE STEP (6) of Hurri IIc available, please assign them to carry 2 X 500 lb. bombs and to join with the RCAF's jugs at the RP for the raid on Dieppe.

As a general rule, asking Squads to split assets is not something that is favored by most units. However, we gotta ask the DRs to do it for Queen and Country.

I just had an idea.

I am willing to swap the Nightstalkers step of strike/fighter aircraft for a B-24d

that would mean 5 of the DR could fly the Typhoon and I would go bomb Tunnel entrances.

sorry it's late, I will plan on flying fighters but will check back here.

is this legal/possible?
