Frame 4 ORDERS

Doolittle's Raiders -- F-1. Strike V-1 site(s) in the indicated Target Area.

23rd Fighter Group -- F-9. Close Escort for Strike Force. Co-ordinate as necessary with the 4th FG for optimal buff coverage.

4th Fighter Group -- F-10. High Cover/Sweep Escort for Strike Force. Co-ordinate as necessary with the 23rd FG for optimal buff coverage.

8th Fighter Group -- F-21. Shipping Lanes patrol, Strike Force Reception Coverage. Co-ordinate with RCAF for Shipping Lane coverage.

Night Stalkers -- F-23. Select target(s) of opportunity at your discretion. Make the enemy wish that they had noticed you sooner. Southern base available if requested.

352nd Fighter Group -- F-29. Intercept V-1 Flying Bomb flights.

RCAF -- F-32. Shipping Lanes patrol, Strike Force Reception Coverage. Co-ordinate with 8th FG for Shipping Lane Coverage.

All Allied Groups to use best available aircraft remaining in inventory for the assigned task.

Airfields F-17 & F-31 have been left open for buff/escort recovery just in case a second sortie is possible/required. V-1 Interceptors can also refuel/rearm at these fields.

Axis Radar

If your aircraft is in SE England or most anywhere over water, just assume you are on enemy radar coverage.

The Allies had good luck in Frame 3 with a slightly delayed arrival over enemy territory. Please note the Rally Point time. Escort fighters taking off at T=0 and likely the bombers can make this time rather easily. Fighters are encouraged to take off at T=0, achieve the RP, and even venture onto enemy radar while orbiting in fuel-conserving mode. Alternately, any of the "alternate" bases may be utilized for refueling following a preliminary hop. Hopefully this RP time will accommodate any initial glitches in buff software at the beginning of the Frame.
BUFFERS are encouraged to publish a Time Over Target. This would allow the Stalkers force to plan a strike just after things start to heat up in the middle part of the map.

Escorts are certainly encouraged to splash the bad guys, but protection of the buffs to and from their primary V-1 site targets is critical. Maintain buff protection at all times. Help will be available on the way out.
Good luck and good hunting, all!

4th FG orders recieved and distributed.
We are flying the Spit IXe, so aiming to take off at ~T+20 since fuel will be critical. Will be on point at 6.6x at least 5 minutes prior to RV. We can go at T+0 and cruise at 40% throttle over the cannel also though if preferred.

<S> and nice plan sir.

Dew,
The bombers should be at RP at T+30, if there are no glitches. We should be over targets at T+65 or there abouts.

Please provide plenty of fighter support.

Thanks

Darryl:
Then plan to "linger" for 15 minutes at the RP. RP time is T+45 for all portions of the buff strike group.
Just so the Stalkers will have an idea, are you saying that it is a 35 minute trip to the target area from the RP? That would put you over the target at T+80, correct?

Jabo made a ruling on your request:

So the DRs can fly the B24J and Lancaster as requested.

Sorry DEW, didn't check this again before we flew. Ya did a great job on the planning, sir. We lost one bomber to enemy fire and a few Ai went down, too. Thanks for the cover.
