depending if we have V1 bombs or not for frame will determine on what your plan is Robert.

Never underestimate the presence of "U-777"

I will not be available for 6/12 or 6/18. I have asked Knuckr to CO the Doolittle's Raiders for these two frames. Here is his e-mail address: mattwilcock99@gmail.com

Thanks,

One thing to keep in mind Robert, the grid is 20 miles wide, so a V1 going 340 mph crosses 17 squares in an hour or 1 grid in 3.5 minutes. That would facilitate the V1 interceptors to be just feet wet to have sufficient time to intercept before they drop on London.

We could try to finish off more of the South West V1 sites to narrow the area the interceptors need to cover. The other idea would entail the Buffs to take the B25J and make quick strikes into Calais, with most of your fighters on escort.

robert last night i was in the V1 arena and the V1s are very hard to spot so in order to see them you have to be at 3K or lower. also i was in the spitfire MK XIV and the convergence i would recommend be 400 yards. just some to think about.

Ty all for feedback so far.
For frame 2 I'm thinking about going for V1 sites to narrow down the patrol area as suggested by beaver. We can leave hitting the storage depots for frame 3. (We do score by intercepting the V1 rockets). I believe the Axis might go for other missions than buff-killing, considering they struggled hard to kill our buffs in frame 1. Question is wether our buffs need more escort than the 352nd?

My overall battleplan is as follows:

4th FG
F31
Typhoons
Repeatedly bomb ships at the 8.2 to 9.3 grid area. Also send a single pilot at T+0 direct route to destroy the bridge at the 7.2.2 grid.
You'll be escorted by the RCAF. Cooperate with them.

RCAF
F32
Spitfires
Escort the 4th FG on their ship strikes. Cooperate with them and expect a NOE run. Set CAP at 8.2.8 while the 4th FG is attacking the ships, and be ready to rush to their aid. Intercept any V1's from F146 & F147 if sighted.
I might need you to instead go high escort with DR's, not decided yet.

23rd FG
F29
Typhoon
Intercept v1 rockets. You'll need to split the squad up in order to cover all the ingress routes. Set you CAP away from the coastline in order to have enough time for intercept. Keep enough alt for extra dive speed. Recommend always having 1 guy in twr watching the radar for V1 vectors or incoming enemy fighters.

8th FG
F21
Spitfires
Defend our ships in the 8.6 to 9.8 grid. Also be far enough out at sea in order to support the NS as they strike ships in the 10.6 to 11.7 grid. Might want to keep a wingpair as close CAP above our ships.

Nightstalkers
F23
AC of choice.
Strike ships in the 10.6 to 11.7 grid. If you are daring enough, go for a bridge hunt to take down the bridge at 10.6.9 and the two bridges at 11.6.8 (three bridges in total).

352nd FG
F17
AC of choice. P-47D-25's work well.
Escort the DR's to target (8.0 grid) and back. Free Jabo/hunting once our heavies are done for the night.

Dolittle's Raiders
F1
Bomber of choice
Bomb run to finish 140/141 and secondary target F138. (all in the 8.0 grid).
You'll be escorted by the 352nd.

All input is welcome
/Robert
