Since we must divide our forces evenly between our 3 fields, this seems to be the best layout: F218 - Grass Field - AE/8th F225 - Medium - 475th RCAF (I assume we will work together again) F221 - Large - Knights/69th 2 steps of fighters may lift initially then other squads are released as we see Axis heading our way I would suggest AE/8th lift initially. Our DAR range is 114 miles compared to the Axis of 38 miles. While this may seem to be a huge advantage, the Min alt for DAR is 1,000' Easy to be under DAR. We get our most points from sinking moving ships and shooting down NME Aircraft. Axis get most points from Sinking moving ships and closing/damaging our Airfields. We need to decide if we are going to launch any Wellingtons, they can carry 2 torps each, or if we feel bold, we could and close the grass airfield at Lampedusa (F217). Though according the rules, 1 to 6 structures are rebuilt between frames, so it would likely reopen the next frame. Bombers have no restrictions on lift off time, but any escort count against the 2 steps of initial aircraft. We could go all fighters and defend Malta and any of our ships that are close to the island. All Axis aircraft can carry bombs, however the BF109 carrying a bomb has limited air time. I expect to see alot of Spaghetti benders the first frame (MC202) Open to any thoughts or ideas, chime in please |

Beaver, Would it be possible and if we asked for volunteers to do a shipping strike, have them go in on one plane attacks. They might have better chance for success then one big gaggle. It could also make them commit to have fighters over there shipping to cover them? Just thinking out loud. Swede- |

Updated the summary so you can see that the striking force of the Allies is best used to sink static or moving ships. I adjusted the radar range to 87 miles since the grids are 29 miles. For some reason I thought they were 38 miles and I built this terrain |

Not even sure what we are taking yet. I don't think the Spit can strafe a ship, the Swordfish is to slow so that leaves us with the Wellington with the screwed up AI's. |

Spit hefts a 500lb bomb if you can work out the diving and if it is strong enough to kill ships. |

The enemy has 40+ fighters and 1 target, Malta. If we split up we die, piecemeal. The ONLY thing that matters is numbers at the point of contact. Forget strikes, forget bombers. Every Spit we dan muster in one formation on the same TS channel. My opinion, free to be ignored. |
