Operation reluctance.
Eating my own words here.
If my taking of frame 3 comes across as bitter or insulting, you can certainly take it that way.
It seems to me that we have approximately 48 players on our side and yet so few are willing to step up and have a seat in the hot chair.

Whatever, here’s the rough idea.
We’ll play defense
Since, as of this moment, we have no bombers this frame I’d like all the fighter pilots in the Fokker DXX.
No one is to go past the front line.
We have no aircraft that can carry bombs so there is no need to go past the front.
Our guns can’t do much harm to ground objects.
If the enemy is running, you can’t catch them anyway.
We will all patrol the front.
Try to get as much height as you can behind the line.

If the enemy bombers are Stukas, have at them. You can actually catch those and kill them.
If the enemy bombers are anything but Stukas, don’t bother unless you have a head on shot and JLG (Juice level gunnery).
I doubt the Fokker’s ability to catch a JU88 or HE111 let alone damage one.
I have been flying the Fokker and found it so slow I thought I was going backwards.

The enemy has E4s now so fly smart. We can out turn them but I think that’s about it.

That’s all I got for now.
Basing hopefully by Saturday.

I really hate eating my own words…

Madcat <S> thank you for doing what no one else seems either able or inspired to do. Your orders are sound and to the point, RCAF will carry them out to the best of our abilities.

Thanks!
This is just one of the many reasons Canadians are so awesome.

Madcat,

Thank you for stepping up and I am not offend and if I am not no one should be. 8-)

If the Knights are all going to be in fighters, are we going to be penalized for it? Jabo needs to rule before we do this.

<S> Madcat, and thanks for stepping in.

KoN fighters were planning on taking the Fokker this frame any way. Worked out well.

If bombers don't fulfill their plane set obligation, they may be penalized of some sort. I'll get Hawk to advise.

Thanks for stepping up Madcat. With the number of players, we should have no problem, especially since this is a defense series, they are the easiest to CO.

Sorry guys, ben very busy today.
I'll get field assignments as soon as I can.

Now a short word or two about the current situation.

The Knights are going to have a discussion about continuing this series (and perhaps for the rest of the S3s) in bombers or fighters.
So, for the rest of this series it is in question wether or not we will be able to make any offensive ground attacks for the rest of the series.
I have requested some type of fighter bomber to be parceled out to the fighter groups for frames 4 and 5.
This way, we may be able to at least kill tanks.

So all groups should plan to be in Fokkers and play defensively for this frame.
Quick overall plan will be for us to split into 3 overlapping areas of the front to include the area that the FEBA will be.

Get some time in those Fokkers!
