Ok, guys, let's talk about Frame 2. What did and didn't work in Frame 1 and how to we take it to them. Beaver had a good plan, but with the weak guns not good for strafing (B25Cs did nothing on the tanks) and the CA screwing us over, what are some ideas. I think the the bombers have to take the Wellingtons this time out. The floor is open for discussion. |

For field closures, buffs are a necessity. .303s can straff down ack, but structures just soak up too much ammo. I think the KoN had some success straffing with .50cals. .50cal Ack at some ESPs is frightening. With three aircraft attacking in a coordinated fashion we got one ack and our three birds were either smoking or missing parts. Recommend mass attacks only, or soften up the ack with a few eggs from the buffs. |

Sounds good. The AE did a great job covering us last time. How about if I use the RCAF 127 Wing and the AE as coverage for the bombers and the 4th and 352nd on a search and destroy mission of their bombers? Please let me know what you think. |

RCAF 127 Wing will be happy to provide escort. Perhaps we should try to close 52, could do that from some alt, and we could take Hurricanes to go with the Wellingtons. |

Guns wont kill tanks people kills tanks You will need bombs for sure. Taking down their better bombers will get you good points too. Allies used the FEBA very well in the south in Frame 1. Looks like it will be in the north this time but their are two close friendly fields there. |

Is accurate to assume that NO GVs would be able to roll on our base in the FEBA? |

I am not sure how the front is going to move, but I am thinking of hitting 46 or 48. We will need more bombs than the Knights can bring, especially if the AI's screw up again. All satellite sites need to go down. |

Enemy Tank at TAC 38 Map view from TAC 38 to the SE towards the Axis base of TAC 49 River separating TAC 38 and TAC 49 Do the enemy tanks actually LAUNCH from TAC 38 instead of their actual base field? In order to get to the location shown in the screenie, that tank would have to be a part of a force that: 1. Took the TAC 36 Airfield 2. Took the bridge at TAC 36. Took TAC 36 3. Took TAC 34. Took the bridge at TAC 34. Alternately, are the Allies to understand that all Axis GVs are now amphibious? Is Allied equipment also amphibious? There is NO BRIDGE for the GVs to cross DIRECT from their base field of TAC 49 to the Allied FEBA. Suspension of disbelief required for this to "work". |

Do you think F52 would be a better target? It's a small field and I think we can close it with what bombers we have.

No the tanks are pretty stupid and will get stuck in the river valleys. Just in real life I guess. FEBA launches from a remote spawn not at the field unless it is defending. Von and Dan have fixed them respawning very quickly. There will be a delay before they roll again. |
