Thank you all who showed up for the Team Speak conference. Good to hear ideas from from the different groups.

All Bombers (AG-8, Night Stalkers, DRs): B-29s, 20k+ Air Start at about 10,3X. Final target F137 in the 6,7,6,5 grid (route in work now)

4th FG: P-51Ds 20k+ Air Start at F188 (Iwo) meet up with bombers as close as possible to F188 and escort
bombers to/from F137. If time, fuel and ammo permit cover the Cvs from the end of frame Kami attack.

23rd FG: F4Us from CV to be determined (5-8) protect the CVs.

352nd FG: F4Us from CV to be determined(5-8) protect the CVs.

More to come as plans develop, any ideas/comments will be welcome.

Radar Rings reduced to Approach Coverage as per the Radar Ring Clutter Reduction Act of 2016

Just an observation, the enemy has the opportunity for LOTS of points at the end of the Frame with both Carrier Battle Groups parked just off shore of the Home Islands.

Killing the radar at F145 nets half the points of sinking a CV. Also would make the Japs think we go for eastern targets.

I agree--thk we should take it out! Would be both points and maybe a diversion for this frame and would sure help us for frame 5.

I also agree, look for a strike after the IJ attack on CVs while they are regrouping for the Kami attack.

Just a guess, but I'd look for these guys in Ki-84s

Pilots Confirmed Kills - cannot fly the same plane as Frame 3 in Frame 4

-dazed N1K-1J
goneer N1K-1J
zinhwk N1K-1J
skuzzr N1K-1J
swede- N1K-1J
=dobs= N1K-1J
knuckr TBF-1C
-odee- N1K-1J
-torch N1K-1J
-prime N1K-1J
dawger N1K-1J
-briar N1K-1J
easyed N1K-1J
-honor N1K-1J
-sakai N1K-1J
hutani N1K-1J
crommm N1K-1J
promod N1K-1J
=weis= N1K-1J
oledkk N1K-1J
docgxx N1K-1J
swanee N1K-1J
lumpyu N1K-1J
byheck N1K-1J
jaybrd N1K-1J
booner N1K-1J
countt N1K-1J
muzz-- N1K-1J
besea- N1K-1J
fepper N1K-1J
heaven N1K-1J
ozzone N1K-1J
pppepp N1K-1J
kapsyl N1K-1J
-tmoa- N1K-1J
rock-- N1K-1J
-deak- N1K-1J
-wcat- N1K-1J

38 pilots who, likely, in their minds are NOT flying their "first choice" fighter. This has to be the majority of enemy fighter pilots. The Ki-84 is certainly a capable ride but the pilot has to believe that.

Have been busy in university last week so haven't been able to chime in on tactics much.

Checking the scores from frame 2, the IJA scored 80 points from shooting down B-29's alone. The B-29's scored only 20.75 points by bombing.
Will the 4th FG (10-12 pilots) really be enough as an escort against the whole IJA (46 pilots in fighters, frame 2)? Or shouldn't we have a squad of F4U's help escort at least once buffs are entering indian territory? It was hard enough to keep them safe last B-29 frame even with the whole 352nd helping. I'm honestly not sure that the 4th on their own can swat off more than 10-15 bandits maximum before going down, if we are lucky, which would leave 30-35 IJA fighters for a free turkey shoot on the bombers.
