Fighter plan was to have 23rd as escort with remainder going offensive.

AE, RCAF, and 475th were tasked with rendezvous at 3 6 5 and hitting first group inbound. As it turns out they were in our area shortly after takeoff. RCAF and 475th leveled off and headed in.

475th and RCAF headed direct to 88 where they engaged and surprised the enemy by staying engaged. 352nd lost 7 in that first engagement with 475th losing 5 and RCAF 1. Unfortunately, no AE's so we were equal numbers vs having the advantage.

Cycled for ammo and rolled into incoming bombers with escort...once again RCAF and 475th ended up tangling with C200s low and paid the price. Unsure of kills, but we lost 3 more of our original 9...two to collisions. RCAF also lost some more....

This concluded coordinated action for the 475th and RCAF for the evening. Lone pilots managed a few kills...with fepper shooting down two ai with no credit awarded (need to see if someone else got credit).

Good job guys. Bad guys were indeed few in trying to get to the buffs.....I'm sure your early fight had a lot to do with that. We maybe swatted a half dozen or so off them...but attacks were very few and uncoordinated.

I loved Jlord's video.

He said we will make the lake our killing ground and finish these 2 guys off.

20 seconds later he said more coming over the ridge, this might be a trap (rest of 475th had arrived)

30 more seconds and he says it was a setup :o (RCAF 127 wing arrives and dives into the fight)

I think the guys who were left had no leadership and ran away, we got JlordJ, Juice, and Vulche their leaders and some others as well. Nice to turn the tables on the 352nd for once.

Glad you liked the video Beaver. Only thing, in all the above quotes, it wasn't me talking, but others in the squad.

It was nice to turn the tables on you for once. You will probably shoot me down another 10 times before I can be involved in something like that again ;)
