What does this mean?

Beaver or his RCAF appointee will call the takeoff for the following groups for all sorties in frame 2.

1. RCAF
2. NS
3. 69th
4. UMM
5. Nomads

It is essential that the strike groups takeoff together and remain in CLOSE visual range of each other under the split just east of Finschafen. The less distance from the front to the back of the formation, the better its defensive power.

Strike CO's coordinate with Beaver or his appointee regarding takeoff times throughout the frame.

Under no circumstances should sortie one delay past Frame Time 20 (FT+20). Anyone not ready should be considered a maintenance scratch until sortie 2.

I also noticed we had freelancers out solo attacking and becoming easy prey for the enemy.

Discuss with your pilots why this is highly discouraged.

Always nice to be "volunteered".

Ya, I got that ;-)
Anyway, B25H guys, fly the airplane in the "Lost Arena". Practice with skip bombs (rckts are colourful, but not overly effective). NOE drops at D6-7 lining up on the bow (ball centered) and pull away hard at the drop. Supporting AIs, in my limited tests, weren't very effective in killing ships, but did soak up some ack. With current settings, days of 50 cals straffing down shipping are likely gone. 75mm, 2 hits, works pretty well against boats, but hard to get two shots in one pass given reload times. More hits required on transports and freighters, and their ack can be fierce!
