Post subject:  TSU Frame 4 Bomber and Strike Accolades

I wanted to express my appreciation for a fine job.

BOMBERS

The Heavy bombers flew the plan and displayed an aggressive spirit and Can Do attitude. They followed up a long dangerous mission with dangerous escape from F44 and took it to the enemy on sortie 2.

Excellent performance.

NIGHT STALKERS

Without the performance of the Night Stalkers the bomber sorties would not have resulted in points. You guys started the night by denying the enemy a key base in F58, struck your bridges and proceeded to close 56. You followed that up with closing F14 and making the enemy very nervous by striking F7 in the middle of mass enemy operations from that field. I am not sure I have ever seen a more aggressive display. Attacking the PRIMARY enemy base of operations in an s3 with a few low level fighters and no cover and no hope of rescue. I apologize for calling your egress about 3 minutes too late. I was zoomed to far out to see the bandits popping in the clutter at f7.

STRIKES

475FG and AE/100FBG obviously were well prepared to take down the assigned bridges and did a good job on F56 proper, leaving only 7 objects for the Night Stalkers to clean up.

Overall we accomplished all of the strike objectives set forth prior to the frame and added some lagniappe.

My thanks for a well executed plan.

What an enjoyable frame last night. Well coordinated by everyone. Sure was intense. Didn't end the way we hoped for the 475th, and I'm still a little confused as to why no other fighter groups who were right on top of us didn't come down to assist. Fog of war, maybe everyone was looking everywhere except low. Doesn't matter - it was a great frame and for the most part things went well for all of us. Thanks again for not having us spread out all over the map and allowing us the opportunity to match strength for strength. Not only did we have numbers at the initial point of contact, we also had a plan on what to do afterward. WTG!

Salute to Gundoc for his RTB to field 44 with 2 engines pouring smoke. Sure wish we could have picked up the bandit that was low at 44, but we never did see the rascal. Glad you made it down safe.

127 Wing flew into your assistance at F 5, with 5 pilots, lost three trying to keep you safe. (Jaxxon, Yukone, and myself) some of the other squads were heading south to cover the buffs, may not have been enough time to get to you. We were at 28 to 30 K when your call came, in we reversed and dove in to the deck, did take a bit to find your 38s but we tried.

Sorry we did not do better

RCAF 127

I cannot ask more than what you did.

We had an opportunity when the 475FG got tangled with the enemy mass of fighters to wipe them out but it didn't happen.

All FG's were within a few miles of the fight but we never brought our numerical superiority to bear.

Salute!

I recant my negative waves about getting to the main target.

The little friends made it all possible despite us losing two buffs outta five that lurched. The good thing was we dropped before our losses. We lacked two UMM folks and one Nomad, so we didn't have enuf eggs for a one pass closure at F14.

So I salute the lites that made it all possible. One or three bandits made it close enuf to me to get some hits, but nothing serious and they could not hang around due to the great escort.

If we had practiced more for F7, it could have gone down with 3 or 4 buffs. We done good with 3, but not good enough. We also had the infamous "black screen" for one of our troops that wished to gun. GHotta fix that.

Gums sends...

-S Swede - we saw you guys there. Although the rumble didn't wind up going our way, your presence was well noted and will not be soon forgotten! Just a shame that we had all those bandits down there, and surely a good number of them very low on ammo, and couldn't manage to pull the brunt of our combined numbers down into the fight. Would have made the difference between a very good night, and a most excellent one. Huge -S's to the RCAF 127. We hated being killed in the final 1/2 hour of the frame, but we sure went down swinging :) No clue how points will stack up, and at this point I don't really care. That was an awesome time last night!

Thank you Sir! ~S~

We had a great time and I can speak for the crew it's the most fun we had in a long time. The fighter cover was also excellent.

It was great to hear the fighters being called to our position to defend.

Very well planned and executed
