Orders are up in individual threads for Bombers, Fighters and Night Stalkers. Please read ALL orders threads to be familiar with other groups orders.

Here is the Overall Picture.

Sortie 1:

Spitfires will rally with Heavy P38's at T+23 to strike F56 bridges and F56 proper at T+42. P38's will then backtrack the Red Route to assume Close Escort of Bombers. Spitfires will cover P38 ingress and Strike then will assume Remote Escort 5 minutes ahead of Bombers OR will be tasked with hunting and killing any enemy formation greater than 8 strong.
The bombers should arrive on radar on the red route about the time P38's are striking the bridges.

Night Stalkers will be wherever they will be with the task of also striking F56 bridges, F56, F14, F7 or shipping as they can.
Bombers should drop on F14 about T+62 and turn West. My hope is F14 will close in one pass as all targets are in a packed area perfect for heavies at altitude. If possible, Bomber will drop remaining ordnance on F7.

RTB to F44 for bombers will depend upon the situation. This is the preferred option as it greatly shortens distance for Sortie 2. If this option is directed by Frame CO, all fighters will cover bomber landing, P38's will then cover Spitfire landing. Spitfires will IMMEDIATELY replane and cover P38 landing. Bombers will launch as soon as P38's are down and P38's will launch with them. Your Physio breaks will have to be in the climb west after takeoff. Sucks but this is WAR not some Sunday night parlor game!

Sortie 2 F44 Option: All fighters will escort bombers within visual range and the bombers will blow up whatever needs closing in this priority: F14, F56, F7, Any HQ in Western Palermo. Route at bomber discretion.

If F44 is NOT an OPTION, the bombers must make best speed to F153 in Africa and replane with all haste to arrive in the MAGENTA box by T+125. P38's will rearm with bombs and replane wherever necessary at their discretion to arrive in the Magenta at T+125. Spitfires will replane at their discretion to arrive in the Magenta at T+125.

If the bombers are on schedule (Plus or minus 5 minutes)(It will be tough to do, I know) the fighters will escort them to target. Red Route to BLUE box then bombers discretion. All fighters will escort bombers within visual range and the bombers will blow up whatever needs closing in this priority: F14, F56, F7, Any HQ in Western Palermo. Route at bomber discretion.

If the bombers can't make the schedule, the Spitfires will escort the P-38's to strike as needed.

Questions and comments welcome. It seems complex but really is just getting everyone in the same airspace for one big melee (If the enemy show up in the west but I get the feeling they will)

Guiding principles when the plan goes to hell.

1. Escort the planes carrying bombs
2. Do not pursue small enemy formations (Less than 8) if they are not attacking bombers.
3. Respect the 20K hard deck
4. Spitfires always in one big pile aggressively engaging large enemy formations.
5. Communicate your POSITION OFTEN!

NOTE: POSITION is where you ARE! It is not what you are DOING! Proper format is position, altitude and heading.

Examples: "2,6,7 25K 330" or "F44 2K landing"

We essentially have little hope of winning the points race this series so what I really want is everyone to fly in big formations and re-create a little of what it was really like. Fighting together against a limited objective. Don't get too wrapped up in the points chase.

I want the bombers in a tight formation with a mass drop on F14. If it doesn't close, don't sweat it. Turn west and drop what you have left on F7. I don't want straggling bombers trying for a second pass of F14. Stay in your formation. A pretty formation over the target is more important than plinking targets.

Fighters, cover the bombers. P38's, kill your bridges but don't get killed doing it and then cover the bombers.

Survival first, objectives second.
