First and foremost thanks to all of you for following the plan.
Second my humblest apologies for leading you to probably one of the worst defeats in Warbirds History

Frame started out with the 475th and 4th upping from the interior fields with a feint and attack on trucks at 110 by the 475th, and 4th to cover shipping
The entire LW air force upped immediately and appeared to be based in the central part of Sicily and soon with the fast Macchi's were closing in on the P40s of both groups, Con warnings were given and the
Spitfires from 23rd (4) and 127 Wing (5) were dispatched to their aid, but being based at 221 took them a bit to get involved, 4th was wiped out and the 475th, suffered catastrophic losses
but landed at 161 after hitting 110. THE 23rd and 127 Wing were completely wiped out by superior numbers of enemy aircraft. Remenents of the 4th attempted to hit 110 a second time as the LW had pulled back to refuel and rearm, but with low numbers could not and rtb'd to 161 with LW in tow,
AE's and 100th did manage to close the oil refinery at 25 after sneaking in from the sea, but were also caught on the outward bound leg by JG 51 and all were lost to action.
On the western front, NS with 2 planes managed to close the seaplane base at 35 and gundoc being the only UMM in his B 25 damaged the supply depot at 40.
With help from the NS and the three surviving aircraft of the 475th, Gundoc was finally able to close the supply depot. 4 attached Bridges, and many targets at this location. Unfortunalty with not much to do in the east and whilst all this was going on the LW moved fighters into the west and after the close of 40 were finally able to destroy the last of the allied aircraft. Yes the last, believe this is the first time that entire squadrons were decimated by enemy action with no one returning to base, with the exception of some of the 475th whom were in tower when 161 fell.
All forward airbases in Sicily were eventually closed by the LW also. Only up thing is the allies no longer have the P 40 to fly, and B 24s can be utilized for the next two frames, low turnout across the board
from all squads with the holiday weekend, but not an excuse for this significant loss. IF I have forgotten any thing my apologies it was a long night.

<S> all and thanks
NS and UMM did a yoemans job on 40, and with the help of 475th fighters eventually closed a huge base. An admirable job, and toast's will be raised in there honor

475FG took off at T+0 with 7 P40's from F167

We struck F110 and dropped 6 targets with our bombs.

We then headed west to draw any enemy units in the west east.

Jabo announced no enemy radio activity in the west so I knew ALL enemy were in the eastern area. We proceeded direct 161 under pressure. The enemy withdrew.

We turned east to try to help the 4FG as they had called defensive. We soon saw many 4th men dead in the buffer and then saw very high contacts in large number. I called a southerly egress but it was too late.

Myself and Dazed made it to 161 after damage. Fepper successfully disengaged south. Dazed and I snuck out of 161 and headed to 212 on Gozo, where I had ordered Fepper.

My thinking was Gozo would be a clear base from which we could replane with a possible strike on 110 or support the West.

With all enemy activity in the east, the 23rd, 4th and AE all destroyed or trapped in a closed field I decided we would support operations in the West.

We flew the 180 miles to F40, pursued the last few miles by enemy forces. Fepper and I dropped our bombs on the bridge north of F37, dropping the two remaining spans. Dazed still had his bomb and went in search of the last bridge. He was found by the enemy before he found the bridge but he did manage to kill a 40mm.

Fepper was located during his NOE egress and killed.

I egressed with bandits in sight but I did some low level pop on radar, pop below and change heading until I lost the pursuit.

I landed in Pantelleria and called it a night.

AE's/100th...had 7 pilots show up..we launched from Malta..In P-38's with drop tanks..carrying bombs we would never of made to trip to 23 (oil refinery)..we ingressed to TGT.on the eastern edge of map..After 45 minutes of flight time.
We was at the TGT...we grabbed to 2K. .dropped tanks ..and swiftly straffed down to close TGT..for the trip home. We traveled same route Eastern edge of map...but being there is a choke point with only 40 miles to cover the enemy just moved east..and cut us off at the choke point. ..enemy had nothing going else to do.so it was easy for them to bounce our small unit..we put up a fight but was out #'d...lost all soles.. except for Rock who got oiled in port motor. .He lagged so far behind rest of group when we all go shot down..enemy egress back to the west and he was able to slip by and land his AC back at 225..
we tried Swanee..was just a. Bad weekend to put up #'. For all groups...
thanks for siting in the Big Chair 《S》

Need to start big winging and use ##s at point of attack..and have every one at that point at same time..strikes heavies and lites...

No way buddy! I was the Frame CO and you caught me by surprise. I hadn't even considered that the North West would be hit and that is what you did. In my opinion, it was great planning on your part. Well done buddy!

Thanks for pointing that out Hawk, I told him it was a good plan but he thought I was biased because we both fly in the same 127 wing. :)
