USN CVs will start at 12,8,1 and head N at 15 mph.

In Frame 1 the USN must wait until the IJN destroy one ground object before the scramble is called. If US airfields are capped or too dangerous to take off then US squads may redeploy and scramble from the CVs in F4F3s. P40Bs start from land airfields and F4F3s from CVs. Both types may replane at any open airfield during the frame.

Good luck in the new terrain.

6. Squad Basing - IJN may use any of their CVs to land and take off from. US may only base 1 squad at each airfield to start, after which they may rebase anywhere. US may only launch their a/c in Frame 1 after one ground object has been destroyed. If their airfields are capped they may choose to launch from their CVs instead, but only with F4F3s. Otherwise they are forced to scramble P40Bs from mainland airfields. In Frame 2 all airfields that are closed will force any squads without an airfield to launch from the CV instead.

Fortunately, in order to be in compliance with the Rules, we "only" need three land bases for the P-40s. It "could be" that whatever base is preliminarily assigned will need to be altered at the last minute as that base is the one that the bad guys have elected to attack. IF they elect to attack more than one base on the initial run, and/or their attack is just too close for viability of another of the assigned bases, then the F4F aircraft "ferried in" from the carriers are more than a bit late to the party.

Two Frames, only three Groups. Possibly a "collaborative effort" by all three Squads on Orders for both Frames?

Maybe choose airfields to launch from that would enable an intercept on enemy egress? Hit them while they are staggered and low fuel?

Would it be possible for COs and/or Flight Planners of the 352nd, 4th FG, and the 100th/Haze to meet on the 4th FGs iENT TS channel at 8:30 PM Eastern, 5:30 PM Pacific on Friday evening to develop a strategy for the first two Frames? Thanks!

Just remember once you launch you are stuck and bound by the non-teleporting rules.
Frame CO needs to assign squads to airfields and CVs on the fly at the start. If its too hairy you can hold and move to the CV to launch in F4F3s.
F4F3s can then head to Oahu and land at any open airfields there.

This is only for Frame 1, Frame 2 is a different matter. Try to survive like Josh Harnett and Ben Affleck but never forget Kate Beckinsale is waiting for you in a room full of parachutes.
