Normal speed for lurch was 25 knots +/-. Then they had wind, which we have troubnle with in the sim.
Secondly, he said you don't look at airspeed but simply pull up a bit as you go over the bow!!! Luv it.

So the current routine is off by 8mph or 8 knots no matter how you look at it
Not been a huge deal in general. The sudden turn the CV makes has been a bigger problem.
This is what I have been doing to get almost a 100% good takeoff.
start engine with 0% throttle, wait for it to spin up and oil pressure to settle.
gun it full throttle, + Boost 2
Keep the rudder centered as much as possible and go straight down the deck.
IF you path is not as straight as you would like it throw in 15º flaps about mid deck.
Very gentle pull back as you fall of the deck.
PS: Don't forget to memorize the target pictures
