For Frame 1 Allied CV groups will have two CVs in them. One starting at 12,11,1 and the other at 12,8,1 both groups hdg 180 at 20 mph.
Targets should be AI and static shipping for the most points. Closing ports, docks and airfields score good points but are harder to accomplish. The outlying smaller fields score points but not near as much as these. IJN will need to knock down your aircraft to score the majority of their points so strikes have to be coordinated and go in with strong escort.

I tried an offline run in a Tub from the airstart lurch field and had good results on the static boats, AI boats or not.
The 150 ft radar is no biggie to defeat, so you can get really close before all the ack and such starts. So I would bet most of our losses are gonna be like the Midway scenario - lites will slaughter us coming in and going out.
Crying shame no S3 online carriers to use for practice. Most buff/strike dudes have lots less time on the boats than the lites.

From the WBs 2015 splash screen select “Instant Action”. Select “Carrier Ops” from the drop down menu. Select a Purple CV for a U.S. carrier.
You can do takeoffs and landings off of a U.S. CV in any of our assigned rides. Fuel Div varies from the S3 Arena. Map varies from the S3 Arena. There are other ships in the arena to make torp or bomb runs on.

How about: *Have all main fighter squads escort the UMM + nomads (sbd or tbd). They'll climb to 20k+ then come in from the SE. So a giant escort + strike like in BBD (takes 13-15 minutes from hitting DAR to target). *5-10 min after the escort/strike group hit DAR the NS and Knights run in to target from the NE NOE. *The high escort/strike group will be reported as fighters + SBDs, IJN engages them. Big big fight. The knights + NS can hopefully sneak in and get the target. Might embedd a few fighters with the NOE group.
