As you all know, I planned a 'deceptive' decoy for the LW to follow. Judging from the period of time that it took for the A8's to finally show, it achieved what it was intended. Since the plane types were different, it was obvious that they were not human and I intended for the 190's to be low on fuel at that time so the Forts could get a decent shot thru 'Injun Country'. The 109's harrassed us constantly but you Lites held your discipline and kept as much alt as you could...for that, a big hearty WTG! After watching the Vid, I could hear a bit of confusion on thier part and that's all I could hope for. With a known target to attack (approx. a 20x20mile grid), 200 miles to get there, and hoarding as much fuel as possible, I can honestly say we gave at least as good as we got and you all did as much possible and I appreciate it! Bomber pilots, I agree with the comment in the General forum....tightest darn box I have ever seen, superb flying! Still wondering how the heck there were no collisions in those HO passes. And coming back to the target to close it with 1 bomb....wow! <S> to all |

Salute! Nice frame CO, and not much you could do with a "rigged" scenario. I hate to say it, but this series showed the lites the pain we bufff-a-holics go thru time after time. The doggone series was a lite grinder. Only way to save the whales was to sacrifice, and it pained me to see the kill messages in the buffer. I feel the buff leaders - Mt-Dew, Nofly, Hawk, Musky, et al did really good work, and we should be a good team if back together. Until next time. Gums sends... |

~S~ Great Job Sasquatch! This was a fun frame and a nice finish to the tough series we have had. May not be enough to close the gap and win but it was wonderful to watch 3 targets go down. |
