It started well enough although a couple had connection issues, however, with the mauling BG2 had that decimated us, we seemed for the most part unable to switch aircraft and so some had to abandon the sortie. Is it possible for the various little in-flight commands to be tested beforehand to ensure they do actually function, that it does what it says on the box. Some of us resorted to gunning for BG1 fliers in order to stay in the game longer but it's not quite the same.
And on a completely different note, what does it take to organise and devise an S3 event? I ask as years ago when I flew as bader-, I organised a few EMC's and had a great deal of fun doing it. The S3's are a lot bigger, or they should be, so is it a scaled up version of an EMC? If yes, is it just being able to conjure up an idea and work out the logistics? I don't mind helping but I may not always be able to join in being in the time zone I'm in!
