S3 Series

Question from a fighter puke who flew both sides in this, if the buff squads were supposed to alternate aircraft during the series does that mean that they could only fly two of the three choices for the first two frames, and two of the three for second two frames, and for the ones assigned two aircraft one of each per frame for both?

Does not seem fair if they flew the TBD the first two, against one set of squads, and the SBD, Hellcat against the other set

Just a question, no offense meant, probably would be better to just pick one and stay with it in the interest of fair play.

If we are forced to fly a plane it would have the number of steps on the aircraft chart. Since that wasn't there and the rules stated that we can fly whatever, I do not believe we had to fly anything and could fly what we choose from the list.

Those dictate the number of frames each plane needs to be flown. We did not have those restrictions this series.

The Buff's flew TBD's all 4 frames. The NS were the only squad with the option of the F6F. We flew the F6F 3 out of 4 weeks.
