Frame 2 Orders:
Raid on Berlin (oh wait Tokyo)

changes in red

The Plan, pretty basic, take B29’s high to Tokyo and hit two Aircraft Engine targets F71 and F67. Having never flown the B29 before today, I hope I am not missing anything stupid.

Basing:
Iwo Jima:
4th, 352nd, Nomads, Stalkers, Raiders

East CV Task Force:
23rd

Air Force:
Buffs in B29’s, (40) 500lb bombs, 75% fuel, CS190
Fighters, plane of choice.

Buffs take off at T+0 and do the loopback (8,3->8,2->10,2->10,3) then off to F71 (aprox 349deg heading).

Air Force fighters take off when then need to, to meet at the 5 crossing at T+65 (+5/-0). You can check with the 23rd to see if they need help but be ready to go at T+65. There have been many times that we tried to do too much and then had no cover available for the buff's. PLEASE be there.

As we approach the targets, if we have enough DR, Nomads and NS; the Nomads and NS will split slightly left to go after F67.
We must CLOSE what we hit or we are going to get killed on the points!

Darryl, please assign F71 targets to your guys.

Gums, Can you split up 67 for me? Not sure I will have time.

Navy pilots:
23rd, plane of choice.
Immediately before any IJ can get down there close 175. You are then responsible for the protection of the CV group. The Nights have to hit it, it is there only target based on the rules, and the Kamikaze attack (after the Nights get wiped out) have to come there.

note: B29's will be heavy. use one notch of flaps and leave it on until 150mph. Do not try to climb until at 200mph. use boost until in the climb.

Salute!

It will work.

The escort for last 40 or 50 miles of the buffs will be crucial.

Looks good Muskyz. We missed the Stalkers in frame 1.

Airstart can be turned on for bomber pilots after the fighters launch. If required we are looking at 2000ft airstart to get AI etc formed up.

OK, if given the option, lets go with the 2K airstart. We need it FIRST though as the fighters wont be lifting until T+30 or so.
