OK lads, here they is in no particular order:
First Sortie:

UMM and Nomads, B-25s (or your choice of AC) based at F153. Mission objective is to close the supply depot (40) this will be NOE until the last possible moment needed to "green" your Nordens.
You may have to have multiple sorties to accomplish this due to lack of spare parts to get all aircraft airborne.

NIGHT STALKERS- P -38 from 201. Mission objective to close the Seaplane base (35). NOE to objective. Strafe, bomb, or spit at until closed. UMM and NOMADS will be in the area low also.

AE-100TH FB- P-38 from 225. Mission is to attack and close to the best of your abilities the following targets Truck, tanks and buildings (17) Truck tanks and buildings 18 and trucks tanks and buildings (87) advised close in targets with a varying array of AA to keep you on you toes. ) DO NOT ATTACK THE MARSHALLING YARDS . Flight path should be NOE across the sea and then over land to objective. You are to be sneaky bastages, avoid detection as much as you can. Support will be somewhat in the area, but will take a bit of time to get to you just so you are aware.....

475th FG- P-40 from 167- Mission is to feint, (or not if not discovered attack) ,toward the Marshaling Yard (107) NOE would be nice [ UNTIL THE DAR AT 195 IS DOWN], as you will probably be detected by local peasant girls stomping grapes in that area. If discovered there should be a truck convoy (110) or move on to the Marshaling Yard at (100) TAC Channel for you will be 25

4th FG- P-40, from 172 CHANGE: HIT THE DAR (195) 9.5.5 GRID. YOU CAN TASK THE ENTIRE SQUAD AND HIT SOME SHIPPING OR JUST FEW WHO CAM DESTROY IT. Then you are to patrol south of, but not over the targets being hit by the 475th, you will be support for them in case things go south. Mission subject to change at a moments notice. SUGGEST SETTING DELAY ON BOMB DROPS
TAC Channel for you also is 25

23rd FG- Spitfire 9 from 221 Patrol over shipping 204, 206 and 208 area. Suggesting a staggered altitude to enhance detection of any low raids Tac channel 16 You may be called into support other units as needed.

127 Wing- Spit 9s from 221- Patrol shipping over 204 206 and 208 also suggesting a staggered altitude to enhance detection of any low raids TAC 16 You may be called into support other units as needed.

Know already that numbers will be low, NS may have 2 or 3, 127 Wing might have 4 or 5, do the best you can with what limited resources we will have this frame.
We need to not only destroy targets, but limit our losses.

As always discussions on this are open. And any one who would like to make up an inflight map, dtf, is more than welcome <S>

I would suggest a quick strike to kill radar at 195 to blind east end of Sicily

With 195 down there will be no need for NOE in the east

There are three radars on the northwest end so blinding that end will be harder.

The Axis will be striking radars on the beach head immediately with 190's and we will be blind 20 minutes into the frame

Marshaling Yards

They will be tough to close. This terrain has bridges attached to each marshalling yard and the S3 arena settings require bridges to close. I looked.

F19 has six bridges

F100 has four

F107 has three

*********************
This may be obvious but NS should base 188 to strike 195 then replane down on Malta or Gozo to hit 35.

475FG will plan to feint/strike into the radar coverage from F90 (F103 area)to draw Axis forces east for the strikes in the Northwest.

If the 4th does the same we may draw them east

Crap, did not realize the bridges have to go down. They are probably tougher then the ones in Crimea. We had to use 6 planes, to get one bridge.
OK then lets forget them for now, hit secondary targets, truck convoy, tank farm. Will update with proper target numbers later.
Thank you dawger for pointing this out and 4th will be hitting the dar at 195. Will have Spitfires south of you, but they are based a farther bit south, so you can always run if in trouble.

We will poke our noses into enemy radar to draw the enemy away from the Northwest and then we will hit targets off enemy radar once the NW is egressing.

It appears HQ have radar as well as some airfields so radar coverage is much more extensive.

My mistake.

Cancel the radar coverage map.
