Thanks Sasquatch. Can I assume that is time at 100% power?

Then I need to know how fast they go to really determine how far they can go.

Remember, we can replane at any base.

4th & 475th - You might want to use the SpitVb as it has the shortest legs, but since your are defending Malta, you should not be going too far ;)

Allies will have lots of moving shipping bringing troops into the area for the invasion. Expect to see a CV that will have radar over the water. Axis will be moving ships through the strait of messina to the northeast edge of the map. Static shipping are at the ports and docks and seaplane bases.

~S~ Jabo can Nomads and UMM be treated as a single squad for basing purposes? We only expect 5 pilots in all

Affirm, 100% power. Just thought I'd give you an idea of endurance. Useful for running the enemy out of fuel

Sir! Initial thoughts are to go after the southern island first. So If we could use SAF 198 we will up and head SE to the target. If we don't manage to close it on the first sortie we will land and rebase MAF 213. Second sortie will be a bit shorter.

On the other hand if we do manage to close it we can land MAF201 and then head to the northern island.

I am thinking 20k alt. Roughly looking at a 60 minute round trip first sortie and perhaps in the mid 50s next.

Let me know your thoughts.

Recommend everyone have a good read of the victory points table. Shooting down a 190 (3 points) is worth more than sinking a static ship (2 points). Other tidbits in there that might prioritize what target(s) you try to kill/blow up.

Noflyz,
With all due respect--either you are part of a squad or you are not. Flying together in my mind would make the group 2 Steps. Seldom will it mater because of the larger fields in most series. The other side knows how many steps we have and could and most likely use that info to do there planing--so I will not support a waiver. Granted,I think,do to low numbers, that we should team upon targets--but we are still 2 squads--thus 2 steps.
