The real question was "What is the extent of the ENEMY RADAR COVERAGE?". IF the radar is ONLY where shown, the RADAR COVERAGE AREA favors us by a whole grid.

Happy trails...

Anything that says radar emitter is radar coverage. So basically take the outer ring of Truk and go 40 miles outside it. Most of the flak and coastal defence positions have radar emitters. By this time of the war the IJ radar was quite good but due to the short range of this terrain we have reduced it a fair bit to compensate. We want those zeros scrambling with their blood pressure up :)

The DAR range is set to 50 miles, (264,000ft) in the S3 arena currently. Will that be reduced for the event?

No I was just rounding it down since the outer ring is not covered by bases all along. 50 miles stops a sneak around on the top and bottom edges.
