Jabo Sir,
1st off I know you work hard to give us fun and exciting series. I always have fun flying whether I live or Die (I think my die ratio is about 80%). I absolutely hate when people bash the set-up (corrective criticism or suggestions/requests not withstanding).

That being said, I would appreciate in the future a couple things.

1 - Please answer questions, especially ones directed directly to you. I was in a panic last night trying to figure out where to base people when/if fields were closed. I specifically asked that question in the Jabo Question post

Thought I would start a thread for this to make the questions obvious
2 - Basing, Is this the same as last series (i.e. home bases) or can we re-base if we want? If we have to stay at home bases, what is the backup MOB (rules have the wrong base listed)?

There was no reply. Looking at the rules now I see they were changed but last time I looked (wed. or thur.) they hadn't. A simple rules updated statement would have sufficed. The NS where almost swimming because I couldn't get an answer to this last night.

2 - Please post the scoring sheets. I also asked for that. CO's can't plan anything without them. I thought I saw in some random post that you said you had updated it but I can't find it. I just looked again and still don't see it. I don't know if it would be better to attack ships, AI bombers, other players...... We might have been better off last night to leave the port to the IJ and hunted ships all over the map. Without the score sheet, no idea.

3 - If you are going to give us suggestions and Map Icons, please don't mislead us. My entire planing is based around this information:

As the Allies you must defend against the Imperial Japanese advance down the Kokoda Trail. They will attack both Port Moresby(F87) and Milne Bay(F104) to help this advance. Expect to see G4M1s coming across the mountains at high altitude to hit Port Moresby as well as smaller attacks by IJN strike aircraft towards the SE outposts. AI a/c will be more coordinated this series around and come in with escorts and player formations but still relatively easy targets to shoot down if caught alone.

The map also showed this as being what the frame is going to be, and this is what was expected. I knew the Knights would come down to 96 to try and close it (thats what I would have done) but then the entire area 95, 96 and 97 area was overrun with AI. more AI than I have ever seen. I am not sure but while I was on, no AI ever made it to 104 area (where I had my 3 steps of fighter stationed for intercept).

I will not comment on the plane matchup as I have no idea what I would be saying (not my forte) and that is always a touchy subject. The strike package of P39's for the NS seemed like a good fit for our purposes.

I know that you put in a ton of work for us as a community and I do appreciate it. I am not trying to stir anything up but lookig towards the future.

Thanks for your consideration.
